VSOlinfo

Why did I build it?

I decided to build this VSCode extension because I was training for Olympiads in Informatics and it wasn’t convenient to have to switch back and forth from VSCode to the browser, so I made it more convenient to train.

This extension interfaces with the Italian Olympiads in Informatics training site.

Its main features are:

  • Read problem statements from VSCode
  • Submit code directly from VSCode
  • Get submission status/result directly from VSCode
  • The extension is on the VSCode Marketplace

Read Statements

You can now read the PDF statements for the problems directly on VSCode! This allows a perfect browser-free coding experience, because you don’t even need a browser to get the statement!

Submit Code

You can submit (for now only C++) code directly from VSCode, without having to go to the browser and trying to find the path where you saved your file…

Submissions

You can get your submission results in VSCode as well, so you know how many points your program has scored, and see if you need to add some new Treap of DSUs, random_shuffles, clock() or other cool stuff.
